nortface jackets...NOT FRESH!

yaa last year it was cool to see tha occassional person sportin tha official northface jacket, center piece zipped down and all, jus walkin down tha hallways like they owned it all. i respected them, i respected their fresh. these were the jackets that everyone died for cause they went for a good $300+ that no one could afford except for those who could barely squeak by with that type of cash on their minimum-wage paying job(s). but now it seems as though everyone has a northface and tha sadd thing is everyone has the same excact one...i try to walk into tha cafeteria and i am bombarded with a plethora of northfaces including the one to the left and the one that this young dapper chapp is wearin
i aint tryn to get on anyone's style because i have the same northface denali hoodie jacket that pretty much everyone has and i understand why, tha jackets warm and stylish, and at one point they were unique. however, after christmas rolled around everyone had this northface jacket... it is no longer fresh, yes you heard me i have dubbed em NOT FRESH! you cannot feel comfortable walkin into a building and knowing that everyone you see will be rockin tha excact same jacket you are tryn to sport, i mean dude whats good!? people would be afraid to leave their northfaces out of sight due to tha HIGH risk of bein robbed, but now people see northfaces in tha lost & found untouched! how can a style go from so raw to some slum so quickly?

so understand you will see me wearin my own northface sparingly, i will no longer OD wit tha jank. just like bape got outta style quick, so has tha northface, hopp off!

i concur. a northface was something i wanted to save up for, as an accomplishment... until i saw everyone holding one in class or rockin one around my hood. now i think me wearing one also would just be redundant. nobody would see anything origional or antithetic about my wardrobe anymore. its just like when hollister came to the columbia mall. EVERYONE has the same shirts and jackets now, and my attempts at dressing preppy keeping my origionality are becoming futile...

im seriously getting tired of hoppers and coppers. find your own style, otherwise every single article of clothing will go out of style every other week

if u got it, get ur moneys worth. If u like it buy it.do wat u do cuz it aint ur fault ppl like the same things as u. Style is wearing wat u like and not straying away JUST because others decided to make good decisions.

keep it up.

this is a weak blog entry. the whole DC area is known for the north face. it's like new york and timberlands. it gives us character. it's a staple item of clothing, like our nike boots. its an essential, crucial thing that you don't even need to speak about, because it's a given. by saying that they are slum, you're treating them as a fashion accessory, but they are so much more than that. come on, mayne. i guess howard county doesn't know what's up.
